Oh, and why has System Shock 3 not been announced, considering the fact that it appears that Shodan didn't die? In fact, I think I like it even more than Deus Ex I didn't get to beat that game, but System Shock 2 hooked me much faster. In story, visuals, music, sound, atmosphere-it bested Half-Life, for me at least. I thought Half-Life did a better job than System Shock 2 in this regard, but in all other aspects of level design I thought System Shock 2 trumped it. I enjoyed every level except for Body of the Many, but that's because I usually hate cave levels. System Shock 2 may very well be the most annoying game ever to find and actually run, but once you get it to work on your machine and you start playing it it's so worth it. Many features added to the game should not be overly noticeable and you may find yourself wondering if certain elements were always there or added by Hard-Life.I just beat System Shock 2 for the first time, which brings it to two classic PC games I've played and beaten for the first time this month, the other being Half-Life.
